Games I Play

I have always been a big fan of board games, and was rather serious about chess in high school. Though I became involved with computers in the early 1970's, I avoided video games because they take so much time and because programming and managing that era of computers was game enough in itself for me. Now that I'm retired and have free time on my hands, I've finally begun playing console games.

Most of the games I play are story-oriented role-playing games of Japanese origin (J-RPGs). My most favorite games are in bold. Not coincidentally they each have a female view-point character and strong stories. (Listed are only the games I have finished or am playing; I have more waiting to be played.)
